- Overview. Chairy, Inc. (“Chairy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard information when you access or use our website and mobile application (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to information collected directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, and from third-party sources as described herein. - Information We Collect. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or financial account information) except as necessary through third-party payment processors. The categories of personal information we collect include the following:
- Personal Information (Identifiers). We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, phone number, account login credentials, and, where applicable, professional license information.
- Commercial Transaction Information. We may collect information related to bookings and transactions conducted through the Services, including reservation details, transaction history, and limited payment-related information.
Payment processing services are provided by third-party providers, including Stripe. Chairy does not itself process payments, store full payment card information, or control payment processing. All payment transactions are handled directly by the applicable third-party provider and are subject to that provider’s terms, conditions, and privacy policies.
Chairy may receive limited information related to transactions, such as payment status, confirmation details, and partial billing information, for the purpose of facilitating the Services and maintaining transaction records.
Chairy is not responsible for payment processing errors, delays, failed transactions, chargebacks, or other issues arising from third-party payment providers.
- User Content. We may collect information you submit to the platform, including profile details, listings, descriptions, uploaded materials, and communications between Users.
- Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information. We may automatically collect certain technical and usage data, including your IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, access times, and interactions with the Services.
- Geolocation Data. We may collect approximate or precise location data if enabled through your device settings. You may disable location tracking at any time through your device or application settings; however, certain features of the Services may not function properly without such data.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, certain data sharing practices may be considered “sharing” under applicable privacy laws.
- Marketplace Disclaimer. Chairy operates solely as a technology platform and does not verify the identity, licensing, qualifications, or background of any User. Chairy has no obligation to monitor, verify, or investigate any User or content on the platform. All information provided by Users is self-reported. Chairy makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of such information. You acknowledge and agree that your interactions with other Users are at your own risk and that Chairy is not responsible for the conduct, actions, or omissions of any User. Any information shared with other Users is done at your own risk, and Chairy is not responsible for the misuse of such information by other Users.
- Data Security. We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, Chairy will provide notice as required by applicable law.
- Cross-Border Data Transfers. Your information may be processed, stored, and transferred in the United States or other jurisdictions where Chairy or its service providers operate. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your state or country of residence. Chairy takes reasonable steps to ensure that your information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Data Retention. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
