Built by a Barber Who Saw the Problem Firsthand
Chairy was created to help barbershops turn empty chairs into income and give professionals a simpler way to find space to work.
Chairy was created to help barbershops turn empty chairs into income and give professionals a simpler way to find space to work.
I created Chairy because I witnessed firsthand, working in multiple shops, how hard it was for the owners to fill their empty chairs with professionals.
For years, at several of the shops I worked at, there were several empty chairs that the owners just simply couldn't fill.
I’m originally from the Chicago area, and when I moved to California, I had to do all the research.
Like where are the shops, what do they look like, do they have availability, who do I contact, etc.
It was exhausting.
I’ve spent easily over 60 hours researching my first shop when I moved.
That’s when I had the idea for Chairy and knew that this idea needed to come to life.
We are now growing strong in the SoCal area and looking to expand nationally very soon!
Stay along for our journey.
Every empty chair in your shop is lost income.
If a chair isn’t being used, it’s not generating revenue—no matter how many clients are coming through your doors.
At the same time, barbers and stylists are actively looking for places to work, trying to figure out:
There’s no simple way to connect the two.

Chairy connects barbershops with independent barbers and stylists looking for flexible workspaces.
It gives shop owners a way to turn unused chairs into income, while giving professionals a clear, simple way to find and book space.
To help barbershops maximize their space while giving barbers and stylists the freedom to work on their own terms.

Chairy is being built the right way—starting with shops first.
By onboarding barbershops early, we make sure that when professionals join, there are real opportunities available from day one.
This creates a better experience for both sides of the platform.

Chairy was built from real experience inside the barber industry, not from the outside looking in.
This is about fixing a problem that’s been there for years and creating more opportunities across the industry.
Chairy is starting with barbershops, with a vision to build a network that connects professionals with flexible workspaces across cities.
